Senate Bill 1 (SB 1)

Senate Bill 1 was signed into law on April 28, 2017 and invests $54 billion to fix roads, freeways, and bridges in communities across California.


Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)

Funds for Federal-aid highways, highway safety programs, transit programs, and for other purposes.

Who is eligible for grant funding?

  1. Counties, cities, towns, transit agencies, and other special districts that are political subdivisions of a state.
  2. Metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs).
  3. Federally recognized tribal governments.
